I'm making some good progress on the Bastion, with the main body painting completed. I've started working on the detailing now, picking out things like the aquilas, the doorway details, framing, bolters, controls, etc. I'd toyed with the idea of doing a sandstone finish, but I thought it might be too much red and brown on the board, so went with the standard IG army green instead. I've seen some of them painted up with a large white aquila on one face, which I haven't made up my mind about doing yet. Depends if I'm brave enough to attempt it I suppose.
