Sladie's Stormraven [1]

Here's the final piece of the commission for Sladie, his re-purposed and modified Stormraven. Originally it was finished in red for Blood Angels livery, which meant quite a bit of stripping and repainting in silver for Grey Knights. He'd already glued in the side doors, and ramps, so there was no interior to paint, but it meant shaving the teeth of the top of the side doors so the side mounted storm bolters could be attached.

The weapons, turret, and cockpit had never been painted, so they got a full detail. The servitor and pilot were painted and added. The cockpit and turret interior were given a full detail with all the lights, gauges, etc finished.

I added a couple of large Inquisition insignia to the wings to add some interest, and break up the expanse of silver. Airbrushing scorching on the panels, as well as soot from exhausts also helped to add some interest to the vehicle.
