Continued painting the metallics on the Clanrats. Only got 2 more to do. Took this Skaven captain model a few steps ahead so I could see that things were heading on track. Applied the washes, did a couple of nice highlights to his skin, and tried out the rust effects on his armor and weapon. I think it came out pretty well.
Using a medium drybrush from GW, i stippled and drybrushed on some Rhinox Brown where I wanted the rust to show on the armor and sword. Then I applied some Jokaero Orange for the rusting. Finally I added fresh scratches, chips etc using some Mithril Silver, especially along the edges of plates, the sword etc.
