• Objective Markers and Scenery[1]

I purchased a Battlefield Accessories kit to build some little scenery add-ons for the gaming table. The pieces are quick and easy to assemble, and reasonably well detailed, yet generic enough to be used in most situations.

One thing to be aware of though, is that the picture on the packet shows twice as many items as what is in the packet. This is a bit misleading, and I was a little annoyed to get 3 barrels, not 6 as is shown on the packet.

The package includes:

  • 3 barrels
  • 1 square ammo box with various clips
  • 1 rectangular ammo box with shells inside
  • 1 round weapon case - presumable for a rocket launcher
  • 1 pallet
  • 1 fuel can
  • 2 small tank traps
  • 1 large tank trap/metal barricade

The pieces go together easily, mostly in only two or three parts. There is minimal flash to clean up. It would have been nice if they put some tabs on the ammo crate lids to allow them to hinge, but you could possibly modify them yourself to do that.

I'd probably buy some more of these for various other projects. For instance, I've thought about making some barrels that are holed from gunfire, possibly leaking fuel. I'd like to cut the top off a barrel and sculpt some fire in it - perhaps guardsmen were warming themselves with it. I'd like to have the tubular case open with a rocket launcher inside, etc.
