So Deathmaster Snikch came second in the Mini Demon competition. Apparently he would have come first, but because I won the last competition with my Commissar, they decided it wouldn't be fair to let me win again. So I get kinda get the accolade, but not the prize. Oh well!
This months Mini Demon competition is Daemons and Daemon Slayers. So conceivably any model that is either a Daemon or could kill a Daemon. Heh Daemon-slaying Grot anyone?
Also, Games Workshop is running an official Daemons competition, which you need to show a store receipt for the model to enter. The details are as follows:
Daemons Challenge - August 28th!
Buy any Daemons model this month and use your receipt as entry to The 2010 Daemons Challenge Painting Competition! Lodge your finished Daemon (it can be any model - but the bigger the better!) in your local Games Workshop Hobby Centre on Saturday August 28th by 10:00am to go into the judging for the best painted Daemon!
Winners will receive the exclusive Golden Demon miniature for 2010, as well as paid entry into this year's Golden Demon competition.
So that sounds pretty interesting. Hope its not the person who buys the biggest most expensive model wins. But I'd have to be pretty cynical to think that...
