• Warlock Engineer [1]

Bit of a wet long weekend with the cyclone and flooding again, so decided to dig out some Skaven to work on. The Warlock Engineer was a pretty easy model to paint, but still has a lot of nice detail on it. After undercoating, I painted all the metals with Leadbelcher, then washed with Nuln Oil and edge highlighted with Mithril Silver. The bronze metals were painted with Tin Bitz, then Dwarven Brass, and washed with Devlin Mud. I also used some Vallejo Verdigris to weather the brass metals.

All the warpstone was painted with Orkhide Shade, then once any surrounding details were completed, I sprayed on the OSL effects with the airbrush. The stone was then edge highlighted with Moot Green and then given some spot color with Averland Sunset.

Robes were painted with Kommando Khaki, then washed with Devlan Mud. The red detail was painted on the robes with Mephiston Red, then reshaded with Nuln Oil, and highlighted with Wazdakka Red. The khaki on the robes was highlighted with Bleached Bone.

The engineer is nearly finished now, just needing some small details finished and some basing. I'll start on the Warlord next.
