Kroot Shaper

Here's my finished Kroot Shaper. I chose the one with a Tau pulse rifle instead of the standard Kroot rifle. He's nicely details, and I had fun painting the leathers, various furs, straps, etc. He's on a desert base from Back2Base-ix, painted out in red planet colors (Scorched Brown, with Mechrite Red dry brushed on, and washed with Baal Red).

The shaper is painted using my standard Ork skin setup - base coat of Orkhide Shade, Dark Angels Green drybrush, with highlights of Goblin Green, up through Snot Green, with a final wash of Thraka Green. The leathers are combinations of Scorched Brown, Bestial Brown, and appropriate brown highlight colors. The quills are Bestial Brown, up through Bleached Bone.
