A photo of the new Imperial Guard plastic Valkyrie kit has been released. The kit was previously only available from ForgeWorld in resin, and was extremely expensive. This new plastic one is rumored to cost about $50, and will possibly be released mid year with the rumored Planetstrike expansion. No word yet, on what extra parts it's going to come with. There has been some speculation about side gunners, and some different weapon options (especially ones that already feature on the ForgeWorld kit). I really like the new kit and it's also got some interesting conversion possibilities - an Ork-salvaged Valkyrie anyone?. I'd still really like GW to release something new for the Tau - a plastic kit of a Barracuda or Tigershark wouldn't be unwelcome.
