New Ent Models

There's some new Ent models rumored to be coming out from Games Workshop soon. Probably in conjunction with the new Apocalypse-esque War of the Rings expansion. The new Ent is plastic, and there is possibly more than one. Although I would think the Ent's should lend themselves well to lots of customisation. Hopefully there will be some additional bits supplied that can customise the look of the models. No word yet on their release date or expected price, but if they're plastic they shouldn't be too costly.

Overall I like the look of the Ent, and its an improvement over the last metal efforts which looked too much like Warhammer Treemen. The best figure still has to be the Treebeard sculpt, but he's pricey, and you can't have more than one. I've seen a few complaints about the smoothness of the bark in this sculpt, but I don't see why you couldn't put some green stuff on the trunks and sculpt your own bark patterns fairly simply. And it's just begging to be reposed so it's throwing a boulder.
