Stormsmith Storm Tower Weapon Crew [1]

Here's my first Stormsmith finished. I've still got to finish off the female member of the team, but I don't think she'll take too long to finish. It's quite a nice miniature to paint - lots of detail. I like the Iron Man-esque arc reactor chest piece on the character, he's got big chunky gauntlets, and lots of opportunity to put OSL glow and energy effects on the model.

I went with ginger hair on this model, and i started with a Scorched Brown basecoat, added highlights of XV-88, then mixed in some Orange, and a final highlight of pure Orange.

The energy was airbrushed with Medium Turquoise, then painted with Hawk Turquoise, highlighted with Lotharn Blue, and then up to a Skull White highlight.

The leather was painted with Rhinox Brown, then highlighted with XV-88, and edged with Bleached Bone. The final leather was washed with Devlan Mud.

The energy effects were added to the photo with an app called WowFX. It doesn't really shoot lightning. C'mon that would be dangerous!
