I got a look at the new Warhammer 40k 5th edition rulebook yesterday. Damn it's a nice book. Very well laid out and presented, filled with gorgeous art. And some of the new rules sound great - ramming vehicles and running troops down with landraiders has a certain appeal. Although we're still sniggering about the ramming rules being on page 69. Definitely going to have to save up and buy the book when it comes out next month. Unfortunately it's a fair chunk of change at $85, so I'm going to have to be really disciplined with myself to save up. I'd really like the Gamers Set with the nice ammo crate box, but that's more like $120, which is just two much, period. I'd have liked the ammo crate to keep armored vehicles in, but I saw some nice toolboxes for $7 the other day at Bunnings, so I might look at getting a couple of those for storing my Devilfish, Rhinos, and Landraider in.
