Here's the Aspiring Champion all finished, painted up in Night Lords colors. I ended up going and buying some GW pink paint, to save time having to mix up my own all the time - especially since it dries out so fast on the wet palette with the heat wave we're having!The freehand bat-winged skull logo came out pretty well in the end, although it would have been nice if the Green Stuff one had actually stuck to the shoulder pad. In future, if i have more time, i'd definitely purchase some sculpted shoulder pads. It was still a lot of mucking around with Green Stuff to do it.
Hopefully Chris was delighted with it. Unfortunately his hobby ADHD kicked in and he's now working on Grey Knights, but hopefully it can sit on his desk looking handsome, and one day he'll get motivated to get back into the Night Lords again.
