The new 40k starter set has come up on the local site for pre-order. Retailing at $95, it contains Ultramarines, Orks, and the first plastic Dreadnought, while the Orks come with Dethkoptas. The models are all snap-fit so they're quick and easy to assemble, but they still look fantastic. There's also the usual assortment of dice, and blast templates, along with a condensed manual. Surprisingly there doesn't seem to be any scenery in this set, but the sheer number of figures more than makes up for it. Personally I think it's worth buying solely for the Dreadnought, which I'm hoping will be released separately from the set at some point.
